Jaqueline Budal Arins si è laureata in Pedagogia presso l'Università Federale del Paraná. Insegnante di scuola primaria in una scuola pubblica di Curitiba, ha lavorato per cinque anni nel campo dell'educazione della prima infanzia, dove ha sviluppato un interesse particolare per le fiabe come strumento di supporto al processo di insegnamento-apprendimento nella prima infanzia.
