Estudió en el Seminario Mayor de San Agustín, Jos, en el Instituto Católico de África Occidental (CIWA), Port Harcourt, y en la Universidad Pontificia de Santo Tomás de Aquino, en Roma. En la actualidad, es Catedrático de Teología de la Universidad Veritas de Abuja.
