Autorenporträt
Anthony Schuyler (1816-1900) was born in Geneva, NY. A graduate of Geneva, now Hobarth College, Schuyler practiced law for ten years. He then felt that he had a calling for the ministry of the Protestant Episcopal Church. Two years after being ordained Schuyler became the rector of Christ Church in Oswego, NY (1852). Following that Schuyler became rector of Christ Church in Rochester, NY (1862) and then Christ Church in Orange, NJ (1868).
