ELISABETTA RASY was born in Rome where she still lives and works. She has published many books of fiction, criti-cism, and social histories. They include "Posillipo" (Rizzoli 1997, Campiello Prize), "La scienza degli addii" (Rizzoli 2005), "L'estranea" (Rizzoli 2007), "Memorie di una lettrice notturna" (Rizzoli 2009), "Le regole del fuoco" (Rizzoli, 2016, Campiello Prize), "Le disobbedienti" (Mondadori, 2019). In May 2021, she published "Le indiscrete" (Mondadori), on the life and art of great female photographers of the 20th century.
