Based on the true Indonesia research grant and observation which has been done for 2 years along studying Magister Biochemistry in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB)Indonesia, Anti-Salmonella typhi obtained from green tea tehindo extract in solvent extraction in water,n-hexane,benzene,dichloromethane, and ethyl acetate has showing the best activity in the water solvent.Fraction obtained from water by using agar diffusion method showed the zone of inhibition at 2 mm and by using counting plate method the percentage of colonies that died 92.8%. Eventhough by using etil acetat as the solvent the inhibition area were showing of 1 mm diameter but the etil acetate itself as negative control also showing zone of 1 mm diameter. So there were no activity of anti salmonella thypi crude extract green tea from fractions of the etil acetate solvent. Further studies testing green tea extracts against other Salmonella strains needs to be done. Research using a cheap and simple method is expected to contribute to develop knowledge of phytopharmaca science. As an on going research, hopefully this thesis book could be one of the relevant reference to your science, drug discovery methode.

After finishing Bachelor Engineering of Agriculture from North Sumatera University this on going research fullfilled her destiny as a new traditional Drug discovery methode and also give other benefits to phytofarmaca science.
