The historical facts describe a painful trajectory of women in search of their space in the productive market, although they have performed various productive functions, in different situations, their labor was confused with collective and family trades, therefore, they faced strong opposition when they assumed positions in conservative sectors where the male presence was absolute. In view of this, the following questions arose: how does the gender issue emerge in a transversal way in the labor market in Business Administration, besides the aspects of race, sexual orientation, and religion diversity? To answer these questions, it was necessary to elaborate the following general objective: to analyze the role of women in the contemporary labor market, as they are daily faced with an organizational dynamic, still with a predominant male presence. As a result, there is already ample participation of women in the labor market, although wage disparity, sexual, moral, and psychologicalharassment, devaluation of work, greater exposure to unemployment, and double working hours are still pending issues.
