David Nunan has been an expatriate for much of his professional life. For the last twenty-five years, he has lived in Hong Kong, where he is Professor Emeritus at the University of Hong Kong. He has published over thirty scholarly books on language, culture and education, as well as textbooks for young learners. His series Go For It is a market leader with worldwide sales exceeding four billion copies. Creative non-fiction books include a memoir, a travel book based on his experiences on author speaking tours, and a book of stories on expatriate lives in Hong Kong.
