This research work titled "The Influence of Climate and Environmental Management in the Spread of Malaria in Kumba Municipality" was aimed at investigating how climatic variability and hygiene/ sanitary conditions influence the spread of malaria in Kumba. It was equally aimed at examining the impact of malaria to the population, evaluate the measures put in place to fight against malaria and propose recommendations on malaria control and prevention. The methodology used was based on the collection of data, through the use of questionnaires, interviews, documentation, fieldwork and field observation. Climatic data was obtained from the Barombi Kang Meteorological station, and clinical data was obtained from four hospitals (Kumba District Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Catholic Health Centre and Presbyterian Health Centre) covering the period between 2005 to 2007. The raw data obtained from the field was analysed using descriptive statistical methods such as graphs, maps, figures etc.
