This paper aims to study the perception of Ergonomics by the employees of a small chemical industry in Pinhais, Paraná, which is not adjusted in accordance with the regulatory standards and basic precepts of Ergonomics. The methodology used, which is characterized as a case study, involved objective surveys of all the organization's workers, seeking information on performance, productivity and quality of life at work. After this stage, the data obtained was detailed and analyzed in order to understand the correlations and their causes and consequences. Among the conclusions is that high employee turnover is associated with low concern for the ergonomic environment and quality of life at work, leading to a negative perception on the part of workers in relation to the organization as a whole. This has a direct impact on employee motivation and satisfaction, and an indirect impact on productivity.
