The question of why the increase is slow to come still remains. The findings in the study of 24 participants, 7 men and 17 women the top three themes were surprising. Based on the results further studies are indicated to delve deeper into the topic of the glass ceiling phenomenon and if women are actually making unimpeded progress or have given up trying.
