Therefore the book explain the influence of modernity in Zimbabwe traditional dances perfomed in or outside the country as a way of showcasing the heritage of the nation. Traditional dance is still perfomed mainly in rural areas and by the eldery. Majority of people had abandoned traditional dance as it is against Christian beliefs and considered backward.
