The first chapter briefly defined the meaning of principal instructional leadership roles and teachers' creative pedagogy. Moreover, problem statement had to be stated clearly in order to define the challenges faced in principal instructional leadership roles as well as in teachers' creative pedagogy. Conceptual framework of this study comprised of the combination of Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale (PIMRS) by Hallinger and Creative Pedagogy Framework by Lin.

Dr Rahmad Sukor Ab. Samad possesses the Ph.D (Management& Administration) (University of Malaya) and is still lecturing in theFaculty of Education (UM). The co-author, Miss Lai Yuet Wei, is a Master holder(Educational Management) and school teacher under the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
