The paper demonstrates the growing role of information in the modern world and describes the rapidly emerging qualitatively new and unexplored dimension of political regime and state stability - informational, as well as the factors influencing informational stability. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of threats to modern political regimes that lie in the field of information. Within the framework of the analysis of foreign experience - the USA, China, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Ukraine, Argentina and a number of other countries - recommendations for preventing informational destabilization are formulated.
