This study analysed the insertion of students of the Full Degree in Chemistry of the Faculty of Teacher Training of Mata Sul de Pernambuco / Brazil. Aspects related to teaching practice were identified and analysed; meaningful learning; production of scientific articles and their implications and also the scientific production of students of the Full Degree in Chemistry of the Faculty of Teacher Training of Mata Sul de Pernambuco/Brazil. In view of the results found, it was realised that it is within the pedagogical perspective that involves the production of scientific articles as a significant learning contribution so that there is a priority insertion of undergraduate students in Full Degree in Chemistry in research and publication projects, participation in congress proceedings in order to improve qualities desired in a higher education professional in any area of professional training, as well as to motivate and initiate the training of those who have a marked tendency for research.
