The Golkar Party developed into a large party in the province of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. As a party with an ideology of nationalism, the presence of the Golkar party was able to be accepted in other districts, such as North Toraja. The Golkar party organizational structure is very well organized, including in northern Toraja. The development of the Golkar party organizational structure also experienced dynamics with the existence of party wing organizations such as AMPI, KOSGORO, SOKSI, MKGR and social groups, youth groups, religious groups and community leaders. The institutionalization of the Golkar party in northern Toraja was very complex because the internal elements of the Golkar party were able to synergize with external elements involving community groups including religious groups.
