Rezensionen
"The volume expertly extends an emphasis on effects and processes to critical and interpretive approaches, providing readers with diverse understandings of media studies that emphasize race, gender and sexuality and are historically, culturally and internationally situated." - Bonnie Brennen, Marquette University, USA
"This comprehensive volume persuasively argues for diverse interdisciplinary methods, including both adaptations of 'old' methods and cutting edge new ones. Appropriately, given how contemporary multimodal media are produced and circulated transnationally, the authors come from every continent and play close attention to both global issues of power and ethics, and the politics of place." - Linda Steiner, University of Maryland, USA
