Autorenporträt
Paul Finch is an ex-cop and journalist turned bestselling author. He first cut his literary teeth penning episodes of the TV drama The Bill, and has written extensively in the horror, fantasy, historical epic and sci-fi genres, including for Doctor Who. He is a two-time winner of the British Fantasy Award, for After Shocks (Best Collection 2002) and Kid (Best Novella 2007). He is also a recipient of the 2007 International Horror Guild Award for Best Mid-Length Story, for 'The Old North Road'. However, Paul is best known for his very dark crime-thriller novels, of which there are thirteen to date, including the Heckenburg and Clayburn series. He has been shortlisted for the Dagger Award twice, once for the Dagger in the Library and once for the Short Story Dagger for 'The New Lad'. Paul lives in Lancashire with his wife and business partner, Cathy.
