The paper examines the threats that affect Israel and the foreign policy decisions that allow Israel to overcome these threats, continuing their existence in a region surrounded by enemies. Due to internal threats in Hamas, to the aggressive neighbors of Lebanon and Syria and distant threats of Iran, Israel must have an aggressive foreign policy that goes as far as using internal force and external military strikes to survive. The paper shows how this controversial foreign policy is not only justified but a necessity to ensure protection of the Israel regional interest and the safety of its people.
