This book solely concentrates on the area of the Gorkhaland issue and the problems which were faced by the people of Siliguri, West Bengal, India. It was obvious with all the attention that was given to the queen of Hills, somewhere we forgot about the base town which had to bare many of the consequences of the mishaps that was churning the Nepali people and also the Bengali community. A brief survey research was carried out with 110 respondents and their opinion regarding the Statesmanship of Gorkhaland. Interview with one of the most renowned personality, Dr. Tapas Chatterjee and a research student from the Sikkim University also made me inquisitive of the entire hot topic. The city of Siliguri and its importance has been forgotten and since, I was being raised in this small town of Siliguri, I so wanted to show light on the area which is also known as the 'Chicken-Neck' of India. The communal difference which has been created in this span of time has deteriorated the relation between the Bengali's and the Nepali's.
