The current issue maintain introducing a new commercial route which especially during the Mongols time (13-14th century) originated from Khotan (Xinxiang, China) and even maybe from Kerman and Khorasan (Persia) and passing southern china especially Kia-yu Guan (the Gate of Jade), northeastward to Beijing. Because of some historical and archeological reasons, like the historical name of the Jia-Yü-Goan gate and the majority and value of Jade, the current issue proposed the toponym of: ¿The Jade Road¿. So maybe the current term of the Silk Road partially (southern Silk Road) will be changed. In this case the term of the Silk Road is not richly a historical term, because it is not based on historical terminologies of native sources, but it is just relied on the volume of exported Chinese silk via this road.
