Autorenporträt
Russell grew up in a small town in south Mississippi called Bay Springs. Born in 1981, Growing up in the 80's and 90's meant many daily trips to my grandparents' houses and constantly being outside playing with neighbors. Not only that but pop culture during that time was simply the best. After graduating from Stringer High School in 99, he was fortunate enough to attend Samford University in Birmingham, Al. Upon completion of college he moved back to his home state and has lived in Laurel, MS since 2004. It was only a few years ago when he decided to begin authoring Children's books. It's worth it to see a child listen and laugh at my stories ( He also get a kick out of the parents laughing, too). He simply love taking common, ordinary things around me and making them extraordinary. Speaking of extraordinary, He has a wife Julie, two sons Grayson and Conrad and their baby girl Jovie will be here soon. He believes the best rule to follow in writing a children's book is that there are no rules. So if he thinks a sock should speak, then it has every right to do so.: )
