Autorenporträt
Joanie Spiegel was born in 1953, in Manchester, England. At the age of nine, she immigrated with her family to South Africa, where she lived until she was eighteen. Returning to England, she worked in advertising as a finished artist. After her marriage in 1977 and travelling to India where they lived for 2 years, she came to live in Birmingham with her husband, Carl, and her two children. Joanie is now retired at the age of sixty four and living in Warwickshire. This is her first novel.
