Author Richard F. Wright has spent 40 years as a paid political consultant to a wide variety of candidates for public office in Massachusetts. He has provided professional services that include campaign management, public relations, and political polling. He has worked on campaigns for candidates seeking office for school committee, city council, sheriff, clerk of courts, register of probate, county commissioner, state representative, state senator, mayor, congressman, governor's council, and governor. Wright had a parallel career following graduation from UMass-Amherst, magna cum laude, as a marketing and management consultant for retail, commercial, and industrial clients throughout the Northeast. He formally retired from the marketing consulting arena and is now devoted to writing about the things that interest him most. He established the independent book publishing company, NEB Publishing, to help promote his own books and other independent authors.
