A retired Green Beret who can't walk away from trouble finds no shortage of it. This omnibus edition collects the standalone John Tyler action thriller novels Lost Highway and Four on The Floor. Lost Highway: A pop singer is missing, and she'll soon be completely gone. For John Tyler, the clock is ticking. While waiting for his new car repair shop to open, Tyler takes a job on the protection detail for singer Alex Anne. When Alex Anne disappears, Tyler ignores the official investigation and launches his own. He discovers a notorious group of traffickers targeted the singer to sell her to the highest bidder. The odds are against him finding her, but John Tyler never cared about the odds. Four on the Floor: A simple favor leads to the discovery of four corpses. Tyler picks up his daughter Lexi's friend Stacy at the airport in bad weather. When they arrive at the young woman's house, however, four corpses litter the floor. And the killers are circling back . . . When Stacy ends up in the enemy's clutches, Tyler stages a desperate gambit to get her back alive. Why are she and her family targets? Finding out might cost John Tyler his life. The John Tyler novels are gripping military thrillers you can read and enjoy in any order.
Autorenporträt
Tom Fowler was born and raised in Baltimore and still resides in Maryland. He is an unabashed homer for Baltimore sports teams. His full-time job is in the field of computer security. Even from a young age, Tom wanted to write. He was about seven or eight, so the stories were brief and awful. Among them was a "murder mystery" in which young Tom, a polite lad, referred to everyone as "Mr. Patrick" or "Miss Jane." The most interesting thing about the alleged murder mystery was that no one died (and, in fact, everyone recovered quite nicely in the hospital). In the intervening years, Tom has gotten over this problem with killing characters in his stories. When not working or writing, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, sports, movies, and writing brief bios in the third person.
