This book is recommended for students of African History, particularly Yoruba legal culture because it covers a less-explored area of their discipline. It is also a must for researchers in African History with bias for Yoruba politics and culture since it sheds more light on issues yet to be adequately studied. It will go a long way to assist policy makers and analysts in taking accurate decisions in respect of chieftaincy or kingship matters in Africa and beyond.
