This is the debut novel of N.V. Parks, native to Costa Rica, world traveler and creative writing professional. Parks has been awarded recognitions for her short story work and poems in her native country since she was 14 years old. She learned English growing up with female exchange students from California and Europe, who came to Costa Rica to study Spanish. Under their influence, she had a cross-cultural education in writing, for which she decided to study Italian and classical studies at the Universidad de Costa Rica. After working as a creative copy writer for different advertising agencies and web publications, she got the opportunity to study communication design in Italy, and later, when moved to Mexico City, she got the opportunity to focus on her writing more seriously. After a personal tragedy, Parks was driven by a deep sense for creation. She refuges into her jungle beach town to deliver a local story that will resonate with many. Her writing shares the multicultural taste of the over-globalized millennial world in a remote location yet to be discovered. She is currently a certified happiness coach, living and working in Nosara, Costa Rica, surfing the waves and building a life as a female writer entrepreneur.
