Karen's deepest dream is for us to become more aware that our children are our greatest teachers, especially when they are provided with tools to remain connected to their innate courage and kindness. For over twenty years Karen has worked with children as an educator, specializing in the areas of mindfulness, special education, and early literacy. While in the role of Mental Health and Well-being Consultant, she developed social-emotional programming accessed by over 12,000 students in grades one through eight. As a parent coach, Karen facilitated a course she co-created for participants attending an online Parenting Teens summit. Most recently, Karen published the first in a series of children's books and she is currently a part-time lecturer for a Faculty of Education, teaching "Mental Health in the Classroom."
