Autorenporträt
Originally from Michigan, Nick built his first 'big' rocket at age nineteen; about thirty minutes later he was staring in dismay at the pieces of it scattered across the field. Since that minor incident, he has designed, built or tested numerous smaller rockets, as well as satellites, space science payloads, command and control networks, radios, fire control units, and one killer tree fort. With fifteen years working in the space and defense industries, Nick still finds time to enjoy a lengthy list of hobbies, from fishing and hunting to writing. He currently lives in Huntsville, Alabama, but travels extensively around the country.
