KIBAWA WIMWENE Edmond ist Doktor der Geschichte der Universität Lubumbashi und Leiter (im Rahmen des D.E.A.-Programms) des Seminars für vertiefende Fragen der Politik- und Verwaltungsgeschichte an der Nationalen Pädagogischen Universität (UPN/KInshasa). Er ist ordentlicher Professor am ISP-Lubumbashi.
