Dan John has been lifting since 1965 and has won national championships inthe discus throw, Olympic lifting, Highland Games, and the Weight Pentathlon.He was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from Great Britainfor his contributions to strength and conditioning. A FulbrightScholar, he has vast experience in scholarship, academics, and athletics. Dan has advanced degrees in history and religious education and has studied at theUniversity of Haifa, the American University of Cairo, and Cornell. He is aformer Senior Lecturer at Saint Mary's University in Twickenham, England.His books include bestsellers such as Easy Strength Omnibook, Never Let Go,Mass Made Simple, and Intervention (among almost two dozen other publishedworks) and countless articles.
