Commodity and country export diversification is one of the most important objectives for the development of the Belarusian economy for the next five years - until 2025. Figures show how it is being implemented in 2021. In the first quarter of this year, the foreign trade turnover of goods and services of the Republic of Belarus increased by more than 17 percent, approaching $20 billion. And the surplus for the Belarusian side amounted to $828 million. The successfully developing trade and economic relations of the Republic of Belarus with such countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States as the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan, in Asia - China, in Europe - Hungary, in Africa - Egypt make a considerable contribution to achieving the set target. The free economic zones operating in Belarus, as well as a number of industrial enterprises - the Minsk Engine Plant, the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant, the Minsk Tractor Plant, and the Belarusian Automobile Plant - continue developing along a sustainable export growth path. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange is building up export relations with partners on various continents. All of this is discussed in the proposed study.Commodity and country export diversification is one of the most important objectives for the development of the Belarusian economy for the next five years - until 2025.
