From a young age, author Tamar Salas realized that the acceptance of the pain of adults around her was far greater than the acceptance of living a life of abundance and lasting happiness. And in growing up, she's learned that just as we are creators of our own happiness, we are also the perpetrators and prolonging creators of our own pain and suffering. In The Key to Happiness, she describes common presenting issues and frames of mind that prevent us from achieving internal lasting happiness and personal fulfillment: ¿ belief there is a shortcut to happiness; ¿ why being busy is stealing our happiness; ¿ the "time will heal" frame of mind; and ¿ the "not now-I'm going through something" way of thinking. Salas answers the questions of why we leave happiness unattended until we find ourselves in trouble again, and how do we make happiness last. In this guide, she shows the key to happiness revolves around learning to share unconditionally, learning to love ourselves, coming to understand love, and learning to nurture one another and walk side by side without prolonging our personal suffering.
