Tyler Appleby was born in 1999 in Washington State. He has been homeschooled all his life and plans to stay that way until college. From an early age, he learned that he loved reading and writing. As he grew older, Tyler began to realize that his most popular go-to genre was fantasy. He wrote many short stories as a preteen and young teenager, exercising his newly-developing skill for writing. In the year 2014, he had a series of ideas that turned into his first novel, The Key to Yamal. Tyler always had a knack for English. In elementary school, he was excellent at spelling, and in early high school, he enjoyed high-level courses on grammar and the English language. However strenuous they were, he pushed through them and eventually resolved to write his own book. In his off-time, Tyler enjoys live-theatre acting with his drama class and going on treks and adventures with his fellow Boy Scouts, having earned his Eagle Scout at age 13. He hopes in the future to have a career as a best-selling author for many different ages and genres.
