Autorenporträt
David Tensen lives in Queensland, Australia, with his three kids, his wife, and a big black poodle named Cosmo. During Book Week at school, two of his kids really enjoyed dressing up. But there was one kid, who really didn't like wearing costumes, even though they loved books. This made them feel all worried and stressed out because they didn't want others to think a kid without a costume didn't like books or want to be part of the day.David had an idea! He decided to write a kid's book. Not the kind he usually wrote, but a special book for kids and grown-ups everywhere. A book that would make sure no kid without a costume ever felt left out or embarrassed during Book Week again.
