P. S. Peters was born in Pasadena, California on Feb. 4, 1947. She begin her love of writing in her senior year of High School. But more than the written word, she loved children. She became a mother of five, and a grandmother of fifteen. While caring for her children, and holding a secular job, she developed mysteries in her head. The Kilborn Murders is the story that had developed. By the time, she put it to pen and paper, the story told itself.
