J. A. Medford was born in Barbados, is a Canadian citizen and lives in Chatham, Ontario. The author became interested in other worlds after reading Revelations in the Bible at a very early age. Favorite authors are Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, Arthur C. Clarke, Ursula K. Le Guin and Frank Herbert . Publishing history includes a children's short story with Longman Caribbean - Trinidad, and newspaper articles on hiking. The author won one of Barbados' Silver Literary Awards. J.A. Medford lived in London, UK and worked at Scotland Yard and the U.S. Naval Support Activity in Grosvenor Square. Also lived in Brooklyn, NY and worked for the Associated Press. Also lived in Trinidad and Barbados. This book began as a romance pre-COVID and ended in science fiction.
