A lively and sensitive first person narrative of the life of a young boy in Uganda, particularly appealing to younger readers. Awazi Kati tells the story of his childhood and upbringing, and close relationship with his father, a kiosk small-businessman, and liberal Muslim, whom he admires and trusts.
