Our society is drifting further and further away from God. Millions of people are walking around like spiritual zombies who need to have deposited into them a new Spirit of Life. Our society is drifting further and further away from God. Millions of people are walking around like spiritual zombies who need to have deposited into them a new Spirit of Life. They may not be aware of it but-as this book will reveal-they are sealed up inside a tomb of spiritual death and darkness. Most of us have read or heard about how Jesus raised his friend, Lazarus, from the dead-but to what effect? There are "types and shadows" (hidden images and messages) in this profoundly important passage of Scripture waiting to be revealed that have direct application to our lives in the here and now. This is the perfect time to take a closer look at what is more than just an account of one notable miracle.
Autorenporträt
Born and raised in the Gainesville area of north-central Florida, Pastor Earl's call to ministry in 1993 proved to be a significant marker in his life. One morning, while praying on his way to work in Atlanta, Georgia, he experienced a vision. Suddenly, the windshield of his truck displayed a gathering of thousands of people, and he saw himself standing before them preaching. This confirmed God's call to ministry on his life. Since answering the call, Pastor Earl has worked in nearly every facet of ministry: children, youth, young adults. In 2004, he and his wife, Marci, launched Anchor Faith Church, in St. Augustine, Florida, where they continue to serve as senior pastors. Both are alumni of Rhema Bible Training College, having graduated in 2000. Pastor Earl presently serves as Regional Director for Rhema Ministerial Association International. He loves living in St. Augustine, Florida and spending quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren. @earlglisson & fb.com/earlwglisson
