Autorenporträt
M. Francis Schmidt is something of an enigma who has never fit cleanly into any social mold. His life journey spans diverse experiences, from leading a teenage gang in Pittsburgh to earning a Master of Science at Kent State University. He has encountered both extreme poverty and significant wealth, even hosting the Vice President of the United States at his home, yet has also faced periods of social isolation. A former world champion weightlifter, he is currently confronting the challenges of cancer and heart failure. Despite lacking a positive father figure in his own life, he is a dedicated and joyful father and grandfather himself. This range of life experiences provides him with a unique and profound perspective on the human condition.
