The battle will be fought and the dragon and the lion must fight, O, who shall rise up and be the lion of light? Thus begins The Prophecy foretelling the destruction of Doomba, an evil wizard who tried to take over the country of Arria centuries ago. Though he failed, many of the great creatures like unicorns and dragons were destroyed, the legendary city of Coe Pidaria and Tau's Cup, the goblet of the gods, were lost forever. However, the Prophecy remains and Doomba fears the lion of light. Far from the Wastelands where Doomba lives, a son is born to a mysterious, unknown woman who dies in childbirth. He's raised by the innkeeper's family and named Basha, growing up alongside their son Oaka. Basha falls in love with the merchant's daughter Jawen, but she refuses to see him. To marry Jawen, Basha proposes to fetch her Tau's Cup, lost on the other side of the Wastelands that Doomba controls. Basha sets out on his quest with his adoptive brother Oaka, and the fun begins. Chased by monsters that serve Doomba, Basha and Oaka meet Fato, a talking falcon. A warrior woman named Monika soon joins the party, and Gnat, a servant boy, overhears his Lord Fobata plotting to stop the strangers coming their way. Heroes and villains will gather and fight across the land of Arria, as those once lost will be found, misery and injustice will be overthrown, and new discoveries shall be made. The dragon and the lion of light must fight.
