Jack Shechter, a Rabbi ordained by The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, served as Associate Professor of Bible and Dean of Continuing Education at the University of Judaism (now the American Jewish University) in Los Angeles for two decades. He received his Ph.D. in Biblical studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
