Autorenporträt

Richard A. Carr was born in El Salvador in 1984 and moved to Costa Rica at the age of nine, where he spent his formative years. In 2020, driven by a sense of adventure, Richard and his wife made the life-changing decision to sell their home and possessions, embarking on a three-year journey as full-time nomads with their two daughters. It was during this period of exploration and self-discovery that the idea for his debut novel took root. The Kingdom of Truth, the first installment of The Land of Muya series, marks the beginning of his literary journey. Richard now resides on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, where the natural beauty and the support of his family continue to fuel his creative endeavors.
