A classic noir story about a detective, a dame that is nothing but trouble, and a case that is nothing like it seems. Joe Weinberg has been writing books all his life, but spent most of his time in school. He has a PhD and two Master's degrees, and spent about a decade teaching. But as much as he loves teaching and school in general, writing has always been his first love.He began reading and writing around the same time, and has never stopped either one. His first book that he read himself was Conan, followed quickly by the Hobbit and the Foundation series. He writes whatever and whenever possible, producing supplement books for the Vampire: the Masquerade and Werewolf: the Apocalypse table top game systems, articles for magazines, academic publications, and so many novels. He also works with Mark Rein-Hagen (creator of V:tM and W:tA) on the new project LostLorn, where he is both one of the writers and one of the editors. When not reading or writing, Joe plays table top RPGs, teaches whenever possible, and tries to live with the aspects of his personality that are both fundamental parts of him and parts that he had never put into words before, such as genderfluid and autistic. He lives with his very understanding partner, NicCole, and their slightly less understanding cats, Savvy and Charlie.
