Laura is a contemporary artist and former Montessori teacher, trained in dance, yoga and creative movement. She taught nursery school and underprivileged teens at the Curro Velho Art Foundation. Her art work has continued to deepen into inquiries of the elements, their nature and tendencies, through working with textiles, using brushwork, wax, pigmentation, dyes, and fluid acrylics, and now digital media.Laura has created site specific interactive installations in Brazil and New York City. Laura now divides her time between New York City and Sunrise Lake, PA.
