Whether rummaging through abandoned forts and ghost towns, roaming vast forlorn plains, or hiking through obscure historic sites and parks, Leon Loy carefully researches for accuracy and authenticity in the settings and characters for his novels. Loy has a broad and varied life experience: supermarket manager, retail owner, pastor, shoe salesman, and vintage guitar collector. Beyond Double Mountain is his first novel. Loy lives with his wife and King Charles Cavalier Spaniel in a small town in Mississippi. The Last River is his second novel.
