Autorenporträt
Bette Price is a former newspaper columnist and feature writer who later became a business consultant specializing in developing leaders who built people as well as profit. For years she continued to use her writing skills to publish hundred of business articles, even several business books-some which she was hired to write for other business leaders and one that she wrote for herself. That book was published by a major publisher and has since been published in seven languages. Despite her success writing about factual business issues, Bette's fantasy has always been that at some point in her life she would have the time to write fictional mystery books. When COVID 19 came along, it provided the perfect escape from her forced need to stay home and be pretty much isolated-thus The Last Tender was born. Now that Bette has accomplished her dream of writing her first mystery her goal is to continue writing the rest of the mysteries that she's had locked up in her thoughts for such a long time. She hopes you'll enjoy her page-turning, cozy style of mystery writing and that The Last Tender will merely be the first of many books to come. Bette lives in Addison, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, with her husband John, a retired broadcast journalist. She is the mother of a son and daughter, both of who are married and have made her the grandmother of three girls and one boy. For her there is no such thing as retirement. She says her philosophy, which comes from a former colleague is that "You're either green and growing or ripe and rotten" which is what keeps her mentally motivated and feeds her creativity.
