Although wrecks are undoubtedly part of our maritime heritage, arousing curiosity and desire, the existing legal framework for them nevertheless highlights certain limitations. Indeed, in view of the many potential dangers arising from these wrecks, it is necessary to clarify the relationships between the various actors involved in maritime wreck law. It is to this extent that our study takes a close look at the articulation of existing laws in this area, whether in terms of the means used to deal with these difficulties or the resulting multiple consequences.
