Currently Dr. Muller is a Courtesy Professor of Hospitality Executive Education for FIU's top-rated Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. He is also the Founder and Principal of the international organization, Accelerating Leaders, an education and training provider for global service organizations. www.AcceleratingLeaders.com In 2020 he retired from Boston University where he had served as professor and Dean of the School of Hospitality Administration. Muller is often asked for commentary on hospitality, restaurant, and travel issues and has appeared in the international, national and trade press. Professor Muller is one of the co-founders of the annual European Foodservice Summit (www.efss.ch). Muller has lectured internationally on management topics while having visited more than 35 countries. Prior to Boston University he was a Professor in the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida where he was the founding Director of the Center for Multi-Unit Restaurant Management. Dr. Muller taught at Cornell University's School of Hospitality Administration for over a decade. Dean Muller received both his Doctorate and Master's degrees from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Dr. Muller has published more than fifty articles in leading journals including the Boston Hospitality Review, the International Journal of Hospitality Management, the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, FIU Hospitality Review, Foodservice Europe, and the Hospitality and Tourism Educator.
