Autorenporträt
Bestselling author and leadership expert, Dean Crisp is a four-decade law enforcement veteran. During his tenure as a cop, Dean served as an officer, supervisor, commander, and eventually seventeen years as chief of police in two South Carolina communities, the first, Greer, SC where he was the youngest chief of police in the state and then retiring as chief from Columbia, South Carolina. His commitment to leadership and growing future leaders continued after retirement when he became National Training Director for FBI-LEEDA in 2009 helping to create and teach their trilogy program to leaders across the nation and North American continent. Dean has received numerous awards throughout his career including the prestigious Thomas Jefferson Award among others for his commitment to growing and nurturing youth in Asheville, North Carolina. He was the first police officer to receive this award and the youngest at the time.
