Autorenporträt
Edward Penner has a passion for great historic sites. He has fond memories of taking his six-year-old son to visit War of 1812 forts in Ontario, Canada: Fort George, Old Fort Erie, and Fort Henry; and Old Fort Niagara in the State of New York. These trips became the inspiration for this five-book series, which always features Maple Museum as a focal point. Bringing the tale of Black Eyed Bart to life was a dream of his, and he hopes that his young readers enjoy the stories as much as he enjoyed writing them.
